Biden Says He Loves America More Than Trump, Is This True?

Trump Leading Biden In Key 2024 State

Former President Donald Trump continues to maintain a lead over President Joe Biden in Georgia as they prepare for a crucial debate in Atlanta this Thursday.

According to a recent poll by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Trump holds a 42.7% to 37.6% advantage over Biden among likely voters. Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. garnered 8.5% support, while Libertarian candidate Chase Oliver received 1%. Approximately 7.9% of respondents indicated they were undecided. It’s worth noting that Kennedy has not yet qualified for the ballot in Georgia.

This poll reinforces a consistent trend showing Trump ahead of Biden in Georgia, a state he narrowly lost in the 2020 election. The RealClearPolitics average of recent polls also reflects Trump’s lead, with him polling at 46.2% compared to Biden’s 42.2% in Georgia.

In the 2020 election, Biden clinched victory in Georgia by a slim margin of 49.5% to 49.2%, with a difference of approximately 12,000 votes. The state remains a crucial battleground, categorized as a “toss-up” by the Cook Political Report. Notably, Trump has not trailed in any poll since November 2023, when a single survey showed him behind by just one point.

The upcoming debate between Trump and Biden will take place at CNN’s Atlanta studio on Thursday at 9 p.m. This event holds significant importance as Georgia is considered a pivotal swing state for both candidates.

Following the debate, both contenders will swiftly pivot to other battleground states. Biden plans to host a rally in North Carolina, a state categorized as “lean Republican” by the Cook Political Report. Meanwhile, Trump will head to Virginia for a rally alongside Governor Glenn Youngkin, where the president leads by 45.5% to 43.3% according to the RealClearPolitics average.

The dynamics in Georgia and these other states underscore the intense competition as both candidates strategize to secure key constituencies and electoral votes in their bid for the presidency.
